Meet the Team

Baiju obtained his Nursing degree in 1997 and is a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Over the years, he has worked in a number of healthcare facilities including, hospitals and care homes which has developed his industry knowledge.

He joined Harrier Grange as a ‘General Manager’ in December 2019 just before the pandemic hit! 2020 was a challenging time for many people but found the team at home was very supportive! Baiju loves his home and his role which leaves him with a great sense of satisfaction. Safety continues to be a top priority for him and the home and he uses his knowledge to ensure Harrier Grange remains safe!

Baiju is known for being friendly, approachable and committed. He believes passionately in the value of people, culture, and right behaviour.

 

 

Salim moved to Andover in 2016 after studying at the City University London and is a registered nurse. He has been working as a Clinical Lead for a number of years.

Kirsty has recently become a part of the team at Harrier Grange as the new Administrator. Having relocated to the UK from South Africa with my family, Kirsty bring over 15 years of extensive experience in administration, events management, and hospitality to my role.

Kirsty take pleasure in multitasking and am always eager to lend a helping hand with a cheerful smile whenever and wherever needed. Kirsty look forward to contributing my skills and positive attitude to the success of our team at Harrier Grange.

Meet Krystyna, head chef at Harrier Grange. Krystyna loves using fresh, ingredients to make delicious meals and has been cooking for over 30 years and enjoys working in fast-paced kitchens. Krystyna is passionate about sustainable cooking and likes to create a collaborative atmosphere where everyone can be creative. She is good at leading teams and solving problems, taking pride in making tasty dishes and believing in the importance of each team member. Krystyna is excited to be part of Harrier Grange and looks forward to sharing her skills and passion for cooking.

Remya required her Nursing Diploma in India and did her Bachelor’s Nursing Degree at the University of West London in 2011. She has been working in several care settings including hospitals in India and working within dedicated Nursing and Dementia Homes in the UK.

She joined Harrier Grange as a ‘Registered Nurse’. Remya loves being a part of the committed team and she always does her best for our residents by providing them with maximum support. Our residents find Remya approachable and often support their families.

Apsara is a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse with about 2 years of experience in various clinical settings. She has a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care and promoting wellbeing. Skilled in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, Apsara began her career as an overseas registered nurse, working with a diverse range of patients. In the UK, working as a care assistant for elderly individuals and a support worker for learning-disabled clients. Apsara completed her UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and is currently working at Harrier Grange as a registered nurse, where she enjoys caring for elderly people. Apsara is hard-working, reliable, and always seeking to improve my skills, confident in making a positive impact in any healthcare setting.

Muneer has over 10 years of nursing experience and moved over to the UK over 5 years ago to become a ‘Healthcare Assistant’. After completing his Level 7 qualification, Muneer became a Registered Nurse and has worked within a number of care homes to develop his skills further so he can provide our residents at Harrier Grange with the best care possible.

Ananti joins Harrier Grange Care Home after completing her adult nursing degree at De Montfort University, Leicester. Ever since Ananti got her NMC pin in 2020, her love for helping people in need and giving back to communities has only grown more with each passing day. Ananti has experience working at Poole Hospital for a year during the period of COVID-19 outbreak. A year of working in the frontline in acute settings has made her more confident and experienced to deal with challenging and unprecedented situations.

In 2022, Ananti relocated to Andover and has since worked with the incredibly amazing staff team here and has enjoyed building close professional relationships with our residents and providing them with more service-user-centred care and support. Ananti considers the residents as her second family and she enjoys helping them maintain their health and supporting them to meet their activities of daily living.

Smitha’s journey as a Registered Nurse at Harrier Grange has been characterised by unwavering dedication, genuine empathy, and a profound commitment to the wellbeing of our residents. Smitha finds Harrier Grange is her second home, where deep connections have been forged. During her employment at Harrier Grange, Smitha completed her Level 5 in Health and Social Care, which stands out as a significant achievement, enhancing her skills to provide comprehensive and effective care. Being part of a dynamic and supportive team, particularly as a member of the Care Concern Group, reinforces my commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. Looking ahead, Smitha is eager to continue her dedicated service, contributing to the excellence of resident care at Harrier Grange.

Janet is a passionate registered general nurse with vast experience in the provision of quality and safe healthcare. With her outstanding knowledge and practical experience in providing exceptional care to all residents, she is a trustworthy nurse with 10 years of experience, now moved to the UK and in the process of obtaining her NMC PIN registration. Janet is very grateful for the opportunity to join Harrier Grange and is looking forward to doing her best for the residents and the team.

Neha has been a nurse since 2017 and has been working in Nepal before joining us here at Harrier Grange Care Home. She has made a huge impact in our care home and she is known for enjoying her role here. Neha works hard to build relationships with not only our residents but also their families. She ensures that high-quality levels of care are always provided to all of our care home residents.

Melissa is a Team Leader here at Harrier Grange. Melissa has joined the team with a lot of experience in care and is a great addition to the care team. She is very friendly and loves nothing more than to bring a smile to the faces of our residents.

Indu is originally from Nepal and has joined us at Harrier Grange as a Senior Care Assistant, having been working as a carer since 2011 and having a diploma in Health and Social Care and a degree in Health Science. Indu loves working at Harrier Grange because all the residents and staff are friendly, welcoming, and warm and she is well-appreciated by residents and their families for the work that she does.

Simran is a natural care assistant with a precise and soft, caring nature. She has flourished in our Care Home and the residents adore her. Always positive and empathetic, Simran had a smooth transition to our top floor and has become an integral part of the team. With a background in Business Management, she uses her analytical skills in her daily tasks, enhancing the care of our residents.

Sajin joined our team in 2023, bringing his background in medical sales and customer service to the care environment. With his caring and positive nature, Sajin has become a vital part of our top-floor team, dedicated to caring for our dementia community. He always has a smile on his face.

Suman joined our team in 2023 and has been an invaluable asset ever since. Her dedication to the wellbeing of our residents is unparalleled and she is always eager to lend a helping hand wherever needed. With years of experience in care, Suman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Additionally, as a trained teacher, she leverages her educational skills to effectively train and mentor new staff members.

Numa is a hardworking, disciplined and loyal individual with a kind and caring nature. Confident in both team settings and as a lone worker, she is adaptable and eager to learn. Having recently moved to Harrier Grange, Numa is excited to contribute her skills and dedication to the team and residents.

As a compassionate and adaptable individual, Lhajo has a unique background in caring for both younger children and elderly individuals. With growing up in an orphanage Lhajo understands the importance of caring. She is eager to apply her natural qualities to the residents at Harrier Grange.

Jonathan is a dedicated Care Assistant committed to providing compassionate care and support to patients in diverse settings. He strives to improve daily life through thoughtful assistance with daily tasks, ensuring optimal wellbeing and comfort. With experience in all aspects of personal care, Jonathan maintains confidentiality and compliance standards to enhance patient care. Consistently monitoring physical and emotional wellbeing, promptly reporting changes and suggesting adjustments to care plans. My approach emphasises high-quality care, fostering independence and self-belief in clients with disabilities.

Pramila Shahi has been a valued member of Harrier Grange since July 2023, where she is currently working while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in nursing. With her extensive background as a senior carer and as a nurse in Nepal, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Pramila has a deep affection for the residents, whom she treats as family, and she takes great pride in caring for them.

Jonathan has been a caregiver for the past four years, primarily working with elderly residents who have dementia and truly enjoys caring for them. He is a very friendly person. Working at Harrier Grange for the past three years, and loves both the residents and the team.

Priyanka joined Harrier Grange in October 2023, enriching our team with a wealth of experience gained from her nursing career in Nepal. Her compassionate and dedicated approach to care brings joy to both her colleagues and the residents, earning her love and admiration throughout the home.

Shanti joined Harrier Grange in 2023 with no prior experience in caregiving, but she brought with her a big heart and a strong enthusiasm to learn. Currently a design student, Shanti’s passion for design gives her a keen eye for detail, which shines through in the care she provides to our residents.

Jennifer is employed at Harrier Grange Care Home as a Care Assistant. Jennifer was a dedicated registered Community Nurse in Ghana with a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating effectively with medical teams. She is committed to enhancing the quality of life and promoting health and wellbeing.

Chinu joined Harrier Grange in November 2020 and has found immense joy in her role as a Care Assistant. A naturally friendly and bubbly individual, Chinu is dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing and happiness of both residents and her fellow team members. Chinu takes pride in creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone at Harrier Grange. One of the highlights of her experience at Harrier Grange is the incredible support she has received, especially from the management team. Their guidance has played a crucial role in her professional development, and Chinu feels privileged to have learned valuable skills and insights during her time here.

Fatimatuz bring dedication, organisation, and methodical expertise to my role as a professional with a solid foundation in customer relations. Her adept interpersonal skills, combined with a strong team-oriented approach, consistently contribute to fostering positive customer experiences. As Fatimatuz pursues a fulfilling career in customer relations, she is enthusiastic about harnessing her skills and ongoing learning to surpass client expectations.

Fatimatuz’s commitment extends beyond conventional job perspectives, aiming to establish a career as a conduit for meaningful and satisfying interactions with clients. Fatimatuz is thrilled about my recent position at Harrier Grange, finding it exceptionally rewarding. The welcoming and amiable nature of both the team and residents adds to the overall gratification of my work.

Afroza has been working at Harrier Grange since September 2022 as a Care Assistant and since joining the team has felt everyone at Harrier Grange to be very welcoming. Afroza looks forward to developing her career with Harrier Grange.

Kristi works here at Harrier Grange as a Care Assistant and has been working in the care sector since 2018. Kristi is a diligent and self-motivated care worker who is empathetic and understanding, with a strong dedication to caring for others. Having undertaken a range of workplace training courses in health, safety and care, Kristi has a good working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission’s regulatory framework and the Health and Social Care Act, as well as health and safety law relevant to the job.

Ashma joins us at Harrier Grange as a Care Assistant, having originally been from Nepal where she completed her BBA. Ashma has previous experience as a support worker and enjoys her job here very much, especially talking to and spending time with our residents.

Chelsey is a dedicated caregiver with eight years of experience in providing exceptional care within the local area. Throughout her career, Chelsey has had the privilege of working closely with individuals in their later years, and this experience has ignited a deep sense of purpose within her and she firmly believes that every elderly person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, and is driven by the desire to improve their quality of life.

Chelsey is currently undergoing training to become a therapeutic counsellor, aiming to provide comprehensive care for individuals in all aspects of their wellbeing.

Weronika is originally from Poland and has been living in the UK since 2007. For the last 3 years, Weronika has worked in caregiving and enjoys working in this field as she loves to help people. In Weronika’s spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.

 

Anjali joined the Harrier Grange team in 2023. Previously a nurse in Nepal, she has brought her wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as a care assistant. With a gentle touch and a warm, loving smile, Anjali provides exceptional care to our residents. She is currently pursuing her qualification to become a registered nurse in the UK.

Sumit is originally from Nepal and moved to the UK in 2010 where he studied Hospitality and Business Management, and received his Level 5 Degree. Sumit worked for 6 years in the Hospitality Sector before moving to Andover in 2021, where he started working as a care assistant here at Harrier Grange. Sumit particularly enjoys working with the elderly and being a member of the Harrier Grange team.

Nanu has been a dedicated Care Assistant for 9 years and currently has the privilege of working closely with our residents, ensuring their wellbeing and maintaining their dignity with the utmost respect and consideration for their choices and preferences. Nanu’s commitment to providing high-quality care has only grown stronger with time, and each day in this role has been a learning experience.

Christiana has spent a lot of her career as a Midwife and recently transitioned into the care sector, dedicating herself to the wellbeing of our residents. She is known as a compassionate individual who genuinely enjoys working with people, especially because of her great sense of humour which helps her connect with others, even in challenging situations. Christiana enjoys working alongside her friendly and welcoming colleagues here at Harrier Grange.

 

 

Suspriya is new to the care environment, but has proven to be an extremely fast learner and is already creating great bonds with our residents. She demonstrates empathy, patience and a dedication to providing first-class care which makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

We are delighted to welcome Dhan into our team. Formerly, she was an English teacher in Nepal and has transitioned from shaping young minds to caring for those young at heart. Dhan brings warmth and dedication to our team at Harrier Grange.

Bimala brings a wealth of knowledge to Harrier Grange as a nurse in Nepal and is planning to pursue her NMC pin. Her sunny, caring nature brightens our residents’ days and her warm presence is already bringing smiles to many faces.

Romi applied for the Care Assistant position at Harrier Grange out of her genuine passion for caring for others and engaging in meaningful conversations. Her dedication is evident in her daily interactions with the residents, where she goes above and beyond to provide compassionate care. Romi has been a valued member of Harrier Grange since August 2020, initially joining as a Care Assistant. Additionally, she willingly stepped in to assist the laundry department when extra support was needed. Romi’s nurturing nature extends beyond the workplace, as she takes pride in caring for her family, friends, and colleagues alike.

We’re excited to introduce Amy as our new Activities Coordinator! Amy will be working closely with our activities team, with a special focus on supporting our dementia community. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her background as a SEND teaching assistant and is currently enhancing her skills by studying for her Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills. We’re confident Amy’s expertise and dedication will make a meaningful impact in our Home!

Dean has joined Harrier Grange with a Security background and has previously worked in the Covid Test Centre and in Pharmaceuticals. Deans’s interests are music, football, reading, and poetry and in his spare time he enjoys dining out and travelling.

Sarah has 10 years of experience as a Head Housekeeper, working in prestigious hotels such as the Burgoyne Hotel and also for the MOD. Sarah is very hard working and is never satisfied with second best, always doing anything she can to make our residents as comfortable as possible.

Christine has been working at Harrier Grange for the past five years as part of the housekeeping staff. She loves her job and takes great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. Christine is known for being a very friendly and bubbly person, and enjoys interacting with the residents and making their day a little brighter. Helping the residents is a true passion of hers, and always strives to go above and beyond to ensure their comfort and happiness.

Jackie has been working in care for over six years and has had multiple roles within the industry including both domestic and care. Her primary responsibility is a cleaner but extends her support by picking up care shifts when needed. Jackie is known for providing attentive care to all of our residents and ensuring that their overall wellbeing is prioritised.

 

 

Paul has joined the Harrier Grange team as a gardener having previously had a 42-year career as a class 1 driver at Booker. Paul has a keen interest in gardening and property and with a strong work ethic and a passion for the great outdoors, he is determined to make the gardens at Harrier Grange an attractive enjoyable place for residents, staff, and visitors.

Joy has been working at Harrier Grange since 2017 as a Hostess. Since then she has developed her role and moved into a ‘Receptionist’ role in 2019.

She has been working at our care home since it opened and she feels extremely fortunate to have gotten to know not only our residents but also their families. She prides herself on being there and is always available to offer support.

We’re thrilled to welcome Olivia as the newest member of our Kitchen Assistant team! With her valuable experience in the hospitality industry, Olivia has seamlessly integrated into our kitchen crew and has been a fantastic addition, rounding out our team perfectly.

Rojina joined our kitchen team this year and has quickly proven to be a fast learner, seamlessly integrating into the team. With her previous experience as a carer, she brings valuable knowledge and a unique perspective to her role. Rojina has embraced the kitchen environment with enthusiasm, and her positive attitude has made her a wonderful addition to our team!

Prem has been an invaluable part of our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant for the past three years. Her dedication, proactive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond make her an incredible asset. Always ready to lend a hand and make the chefs’ work easier without being asked, Prem truly embodies teamwork at its best. She has also excelled in training our new kitchen assistants, sharing her expertise and setting them up for success. We’re so grateful to have Prem as a cornerstone of our kitchen crew!
