Houghton Lodge

Residents Enjoying a Lunch Out

Last Thursday our residents - Kathleen, Pam, John Gibbons and John Keeling - visited Houghton Lodge Tea Rooms, where they enjoyed tea and sandwiches in the conservatory.

The tea room is surrounded by stunning grounds that include, beautiful private gardens, a river and an alpaca field. On this occasion, they did not visit the Alpaca field or gardens but the trip was enjoyed by all - our Pam said she found it nostalgic as she used to visit places very similar to this with her family.

Activities Co-Ordinator, Chris Martin said: "Kath managed to catch up with her daughter and son in law as Houghton Lodge is very close to where they live and this became an even better social outing for her."

"Both John's enjoyed the environment and good food! All in it was a fantastic day and we would love to go again!"
