Zumba Gold

We had Valley Leisure in to visit our home on Monday and they instructed a Zumba Gold class, which involves dancing to music in an armchair, with our residents!

Eight of our residents took part shaking maracas in time with the music and going through a variety of exercises with the instructor - and it's safe to say that they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Our Activities Co-Ordinator, Chris Martin, said: "Our residents were really engaged in this class as it was an exciting new activity that they have not experienced yet."

"It brought a smile to all of their faces, especially our Kathleen who asked when they were going to visit again - I have assured her they will be back again soon!"
