Dementia Care

Our staff at Harrier Grange Care Home have all had extensive training and are fully competent to deal with all aspects of dementia.

Our staff considers each of our residents as a person, tailoring their care to meet their individual requirements and expectations. In order to create an accurate impression of their lives, we get to know our residents with the support of family and loved ones; this ensures the safeguarding of their happiness and wellbeing.

We also provide a variety of activities and alternative therapies to help our residents with memory loss: our Activity Coordinators are trained to work with people at all stages of dementia, and their families can visit them at any time.

Nursing Care

Nursing care is offered to any of our residents who require this 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Harrier Grange Care Home has on board a brilliant team of trained nurses and care workers.

Each resident is assigned a nurse who will quickly become a familiar face for them and will happily answer any queries or concerns you or your family may have during your stay. If your nurse is unavailable, another member of staff known as a key worker will look after you, ensuring that you are always greeted with a friendly face and who will assist with any needs.
